I put this website together for my students and parents. I continually get the complaints from parents that students are not bringing homework home at night or they can’t read the planner. I know this website will clear everything up…LOL. Seriously, I know some parents will use this website and try to keep their scholars on track. This website will also help inform students of work missed when they were absent.

I also made my website for my class (6th Grade ELA) as I whole heartedly agree that some of my students would use it, along with their parents, as a way to stay informed and up-to-date with assignments, activities, etc. As I was creating it, however, I kept thinking (or trying to think) of ways to make it as easy as possible for me to update and refresh without taking too much time out of my already busy schedule. I love the idea of a homework page, but hate that it would be one more thing for me to do. If you ever come up with a good solution, let me know! However, I felt this application was easy to use and would be easy to update.
I also really enjoyed checking out your science websites page. I have a science website page on my district-provided website, but using this website is much more fun and interactive, especially when you can embed videos and other documents like you did.
Nice job and I enjoyed browsing through your pages.
